Emerald Nursing Ireland, a leading health-care recruitment agency, is seeking a dedicated Finance Administrator/Credit Controller to join our expanding team as we continue to grow and establish exciting plans for the future.
This full-time, remote position requires availability from Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:30.
As a Finance Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, assisting with payroll, and addressing ad-hoc requests when necessary.
As a Credit Controller, your responsibilities will include collecting debts from company debtors, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining the sales ledger.
The Financial Administrator/Credit Controller role involves the following duties:
Responsibilities & Role
Administration:
– Conduct checks on weekly time-sheets and expense claims for payroll.
– Assist with payroll inquiries from agency staff and contractors.
– Input data into Microsoft Excel.
– Process weekly payments.
– Support ad-hoc projects and other accounts/administration tasks as needed.
Credit Control:
– Communicate with customers and pursue overdue balances.
– Manage the sales ledger, including allocating customer receipts to invoices as per remittance advice in accounting software.
– Prepare statements and reports for clients.
– Address client queries.
– Generate weekly internal reports on collections.
– Skills, Experience & Knowledge
Requirements:
– At least 1-2 years of prior experience in a similar finance role.
– Effective written and verbal communication skills.
– Ability to learn and adapt to new software and processes quickly.
– Accurate, reliable, and organized.
– Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills. Familiarity with accounting software packages, particularly Xero, is preferred.
Training will be provided.
